Collaborative Librarianship came to fruition around the scholarship of collaboration and sharing of resources and expertise within and between libraries. Increasingly, libraries are moved to seek partnerships with other libraries, with other organizations in the information and technology fields, with other entities in our institutions, and with other groups and enterprises in our communities.

We were a pioneer “open education” organization, launching in 2007 as collegeopentextbooks.org (“COT”), and partnering with several other nonprofits and around 200 colleges and universities. At that point, “open education” was still the Wild West.

Comics For Good is an social good initiative that aims to spread factual information to the public in a simple and clear manner with comics. It is currently being funded out of pocket by Weiman Kow. The team is made up of Weiman, a part time intern and volunteers from around the world.

Communication Cultures in Africa (CCA) is new and proposes to be a bi-annual journal of the Association of Communication Scholars & Professionals of Nigeria (ACSPN). Although it focuses on the African continent, it is expected that ideas will not be exclusively from there.

Currently, it publishes over 200 peer-reviewed open access journals online, covering a diverse range of academic disciplines. By offering its publications in Open Access, SCIRP caters to the global academic community and facilitates the advancement and application of science.

Comparative Migration Studies (CMS) is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal that provides a platform for articles that focus on comparative research in migration, integration, and race and ethnic relations. It presents readers with an extensive collection of comparative analysis, including studies between countries, groups, levels, and historical periods.
