As the lead United Nations agency on international development, UNDP works in 170 countries and territories to eradicate poverty and reduce inequality. We help countries develop policies, leadership skills, partnerships and institutional capabilities to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. Our work is centred around six core development areas, known as our signature solutions: poverty and inequality, governance, resilience, environment, energy and gender equality.

The UA Campus Repository is a publicly available institutional repository. Sharing UA research with the world, the UA Campus Repository supports the widest possible dissemination of UA research and scholarship. Through partnerships with campus contributors, the repository facilitates access to the research, publications, creative works and teaching materials of the University by collecting, sharing and archiving content selected and deposited by faculty, researchers, staff and affiliated contributors. The repository also provides access to digital collections developed by the University of Arizona Libraries and Special Collections.

Open Access offers the potential to exponentially increase the visibility and impact of scholarly work by making it globally accessible and freely available in digital formats. Costs are covered up front through subventions, breaking down barriers of access at the other end—for libraries and for individual readers anywhere in the world.

Open Access provides our framework for preserving and reinvigorating monograph publishing for the future.

The University of Cambridge is committed to disseminating its research and scholarship as widely as possible. In keeping with that commitment, it supports its staff in making their research outputs freely available.

Open Access has its philosophical roots in the traditional values and goals of the academy – collegiality, research and knowledge creation as a shared endeavour, a collaborative approach to enquiry, the furtherance of human understanding and the diffusion of knowledge to the benefit of society at large.

The University of Florida Digital Collections (UFDC) hosts many outstanding digital collections, containing millions of pages, covering tens of thousands of subjects in rare books, manuscripts, global and generic maps, children's literature, newspapers, theses and dissertations, data sets, photographs, oral histories, and more for permanent access and preservation. Through UFDC, users have free and Open Access to full unique and rare materials held by the University of Florida and partner institutions.

The Kentucky Research Commons makes Kentucky’s finest scholarship, from undergraduate journals to faculty monographs, available to scholars around the world. Curated by university librarians and their supporting institutions, the Commons includes a growing collection of peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, dissertations, working papers, conference proceedings, and other original scholarly work. By aggregating these collections into one portal, the Kentucky Research Commons makes it possible to explore the breadth of Kentucky's finest research.

UM Research Repository is the Universiti Malaya’s perpetual, accessible and growing collection of research work which includes peer-reviewed articles, conferences and working papers representing our rich intellectual community. It has been established to provide a deposit service for the academic staff and researchers. It is an initiative of the Digital Scholarship and Information Commons.

University of Miami Libraries hold approximately 9,100 theses and dissertations submitted from 1943 to the present. They can be searched by author and title via Richter’s Library Online Catalog. The collection is in print format and it is kept at our Off-Campus Storage Facility.
