Founded in 1945, the California Council on Teacher Education (CCTE) is a non-profit organization devoted to stimulating the improvement of the pre-service and in-service education of teachers and administrators. CCTE sponsors Teacher Education Quarterly to further this goal. CCTE supports a diverse community of teacher educators who seek to be informed, reflective, and active regarding significant research, sound practice, and current public educational issues.
