The Pneuma Foundation started as a dream of some brothers in the Lord to see an increase in balanced biblical teaching from a Pentecostal/charismatic perspective. The founders and the early participants in the ministry were friends in the Western Michigan area who met through occupational and ministry settings. Through growing friendship they realized that although they disagreed on secondary issues, they were unified on the entire core of evangelical belief. Together they saw that there were not many biblical resources that emphasized the gifts of the Spirit for today. Pentecostal/charismatic studies existed, but they were predominately aimed for an academic audience.

Polish Association for the Study of English (PASE), a scholarly gathering of Polish anglicists, has great pleasure to welcome you to Polish Journal of English Studies, a peer-reviewed journal for scholars working in the literature and culture in English, as well as theoretical and applied linguistics. The journal is intended as a forum for the exchange of scholarly and scientific thought, ideas, and proposals within the broadly understood discipline of English studies. We invite our colleagues from Poland and abroad to contribute articles which would reflect their field of research and expertise. The articles are blindly reviewed by independent scholars prior to their publication. We publish general issues as well as specific, topic-oriented ones. We are looking forward to submissions from all scholars working in English studies.
