Research Journal of the University of Gdansk. Transport Economics and Logistics is a merit continuation of Research Journal of the University of Gdansk. Economics of Inland Transportation issued since 1971. The journal contains original articles published on the transportation, logistics and forwarding issues from the economics point of view, especially on the market, efficiency, functionality, management, infrastructure, modeling, analysis, strategy, cases, concepts, methods and instruments. The above issues are profiled substantially into several research areas, especially transport economics; market of transport, forwarding and logistic services; modeling logistic processes and systems; development and functioning of transport and logistic systems, which are reflected in the headings of individual published numbers ot the paper. This journal is issued at the Faculty of Economics (the former name - the Faculty of Transport Economics), which transport traditions are widely known to scientists, and therefore the paper is also widely recognized
